After featuring at PacPrint 2017, the Mobile Imagination Centre (MIC) made its way to regional Victoria with stops at Geelong, Bendigo and Mildura.
For this run, we added short information sessions on topics including tips for better printing and how to tap into the personalisation market with UV. We also chose public venues so we could meet with people outside of our immediate industries in order to raise awareness of the growing number of applications that can be produced for both business and personal use. For Geelong and Bendigo, the MIC was set up outside local outdoor Malls and in Mildura we set up at SuniTAFE, where students studying various subjects were shown how Roland technology can fit into different industries.
Despite the cold, we received a number of visitors over the three days and we were able to help some of our customers with personalised RolandClinic sessions. We awarded our winning entrants for the ‘With Roland’ Competition an iDecora each, for submitting an image of a recent piece of work they created with a Roland device. Congratulations guys, you’re now in the running to win the grand prize of a luxury getaway worth $5,000!
Next up the MIC is heading to regional Queensland stopping at Cairns on 22nd August, Townsville on 23rd August and Mackay on 24th August. If you’re in the area, make sure to register your attendance and at the same time, apply for the ‘With Roland’ Competition.
We look forward to supporting and meeting with more regional customers and showcasing the latest in Roland technology and applications.
